Part of a contest on VP I rather like the pose because it took me a bit to figure out a good way to use the back claws
 The canine is Wolf x Raptor x APT and the Deer is my stag from TEF (I altered the antlers and face a bit from the game though XD ) Wo0t, finally finished with a background as well, because it looked blah with no background. Also listed the 4 versions of this, because the contest owner wanted to see a tweak on the feathers, and I wanted a bloody and bloodless version. Alt Versions: Half Crest, No Blood Half Crest, with Blood Full Crest, no Blood Full Crest, with Blood Videos: Lineing Coloring/Shading Shading/Highlights Art (c) Every thing else (c) respective owners Comments

 What tool did you use for the lineart? You still use gimp right? Or was this done by hand? xD haha I dunno Ink tool (short cut K ) and still GIMP :3 But the rough sketch was actually done by hand, I just redid the sketch on gimp to fix a few error on the deer that I found, and then do the lines. I finally got the recording to post on the tube, and should be playable shortly so you can see what I did. Lot easier than trying to explain XD

I really like it - I was surprised to see how extravagant the crest turned out, but it's drawn very well. I can't wait to see how it turns out when you've had a chance to put color to it -Xae -- This calls for a particularly subtle blend of psychology and extreme violence. XD
If the crest is way to long when I'm done coloring I can take off the top layer of feathers and see how that looks. I just really like feathers lmao -- Ready to pull the trigger?
